Grey Cup: we’re getting together!

Join us on Sunday, November 26 at BottleDog Bites and Brews in Cary for a pre-game beer or a kickoff poutine! (Or a smoked meat sandwich. Or a beaver tail!). Or you can simply come hang out with fellow Canadians.

This is a ‘pay your own tab’ event.

Event starts at 4:30pm
Kickoff is at 6pm

Registration is required.

We look forward to seeing you soon and chatting about our new group, the Canadian Network of North Carolina (merger between CanSouth and the Canadian Business Association of NC).

Party Pics: Grey Cup

Twenty or so Canucks got together on Sunday November 29 to watch the CFL’s Grey Cup Finals at the Carolina Ale House at Brier Creek. Labatt Blue and great poutine were had by all, amidst much laughter and game cheers. (The Edmonton Eskimos won over the Ottawa Redblacks 26-20.) A million thanks to Bob Savage for making this event possible at the Carolina Ale House and to Janice for coordinating on the CanSouth side of things.

We created a photo gallery for this event. Click on the photo below to access it.

Canadian football, Canadian beer and poutine…

Just a quick reminder that the Grey Cup Party is at 5pm. When you get to the Carolina Ale House (Brier Creek), just look for the Canadian flags and you’ll find us!

CanSouth Grey Cup Party

2015-103rd-grey-cupCanSouth is getting together at the Carolina Ale House (Brier Creek) to watch the Grey Cup Finals in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Sunday, November 29 @ 5pm.

Kickoff is at 6pm (5pm in Winnipeg), so you’ll have time to grab a Canadian beer (on tap just for us) and mingle before the game starts. You don’t like Canadian football (or any kind of football)? Then come just for the poutine!  Yes, Carolina Ale is treating us to poutine for the occasion.

We look forward to eating poutine and watching the game with you. When you get to the Carolina Ale House, just follow the Canadian flags to the patio…

We need a head count. So if you plan to attend, please register using the form on the * Event Registration * page, available from the menu.
