Last days for Canada Day Family Skating Early Bird Special!

You have until May 31 to take advantage of the Early Bird Special for the Canada Day on Ice Family Skating event on Saturday, July 2.

Ice houseJust us at the Polar Ice House in Wake Forest (1839 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587)  for family fun skating to celebrate Canada Day.  Skating starts at 2pm, but you can arrive as early as 1:30pm to rent and put on your skates (rental included in ticket price if you don’t already own skates). There will be finger food, door prizes and Canada Day cake!

CanSouth gathered at the North Carolina Museum of Art yesterday to listen to fellow Canadian Ed Stephenson playing with the Paco Band.  Wonderful music, nice food and great company–take a look at the photos below!

If you’ve enjoyed Ed’s music and would like hear him again (or couldn’t make last evening’s event), you can catch him at other venues around the Triangle… and even in Toronto!   Take a look at his calendar to figure out where he’ll be playing next–solo or with the Paco Band!

Canada Day Celebrations: Register Now!


This year CanSouth is celebrating Canada Day in style… on July 1 and July 2! Meet us at one or both events! Registration is now open.

Toast to Canada
Join us on July 1 at 5:30pm at the Carolina Ale House (Brier Creek) to raise a toast and celebrate Canada Day with poutine and a pint of Canadian beer. This is a pay your own tab event.

Canada Day on Ice Family Skating Event
Skate with your little ones and friends at the Polar Ice House in Wake Forest on July 2 for a family fun Canada Day on ice. Skating starts at 2pm, but you can arrive a little earlier to get ready. Event price includes skate rental (if you don’t have your own skates), finger food and Canada Day cake.
(Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent/adult attending the event.)

Ed_Stephenson2CanSouth is getting together on Friday, May 13 at the North Carolina Museum of Art to listen to Ed Stephenson and the Paco Band.

The event is free, but space at our table is limited. There are a few spots left and you have until Wednesday, May 11 at 5pm to register for this social event.
